Digital editions: measurable results for our clients

Over the last two years or so, Touchline as a group has invested heavily in its in-house digital expertise, recruiting what we regard to be an ‘A-team’ that are world-beaters, and also in technologies that deliver the messaging of our clients, and our great content, in ever-more interesting and engaging ways.

Our portfolio of digital editions illustrates the approach. These are not traditional pdf versions of newsletters and magazines that you might normally find on the Apple Newsstand, but bespoke interactive products on our Enjoy platform that bring to life our written, video and audio content, rich media, in a most interesting and intuitive way.

These products – available for download on the Apple Newsstand or via web app – demonstrate how far media has come in a very short time. In the blink of an eye, these beautifully designed titles can be available worldwide, with editions in any language requested by our growing number of clients using this platform, editions that often compliment the printed versions. We publish Escrime, the newsletter of the International Fencing Federation, in six languages, Invest, a prize-winning quarterly published for Dubai FDI – the government body dedicated to attracting foreign direct investment to the emirate – in four languages (English, Arabic, Russian and Mandarin). The new interactive digital edition of the acclaimed international quarterly, Vision magazine, is published simply in English in its digital format, but is nevertheless instantly readable anywhere around the globe.

These three are all free downloads from the Apple Newsstand, because our clients are keen to access the widest international audiences, and to deliver the great content quickly and efficiently to far flung places.

But there are other deliverables for our clients using these new channels, in that we are able to report ‘traffic’ from downloads, to the dwell times on the most-read articles on a real-time basis, allowing true measurement of ROI. Data capture can also be part of the equation for those who want the contact details of readers.
